Grammy's Good Eatin' Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread

Quanity: 1 loaf
This recipe calls for:
1 Large Bread Pan1 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
3 Large Mashed Bananas
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts (optional)
1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine (1 stick)
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Vanilla
3/4 Cup Chocolate Chips (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375 F
In a medium size bowl, blend together sugar, butter (soft or melted), vanilla, then add dry ingredients, mix thoroughly.
Add in mashed bananas, chopped walnuts, and 3/4 cup of chocolate chips.
Then grease your bread pan and line bottom with parchment paper.
Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until it's spongy to touch and toothpick comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes then take out of pan.
Storing:
When storing bread keep in mind it will only keep about a week on the counter. To keep longer, wrap in saran wrap and put in gallon size freezer bag, freeze, then thaw when ready to eat.
